I have a perfectly healthy Friesian Sport Horse but her feet have always been tender on the gravel. Since I have been working with Success with Horses we have changed the way we trim her feet and I have modified her diet. Even though she is twenty, we exercise on a regular basis and make sure she always has room to move. Thanks to the Success with Horses program my mare is no longer sensitive on the gravel and it is too much fun to trot trot trot , shoeless down the side of the road. Briggita and Connie are amazing teachers. I wish I had meet them 40 years ago when I started riding competitively.
If they told me to strip naked, paint myself blue and dance under the full moon, I would because their program works. They know and they care and they conduct themselves with unshakable integrity.
They should be called INTEGRITY WITH HORSES !!!!!!

When everyone else told us to shoot our foundered horse and buy a new one, by chance Birgitta and success with horses walked into our lives. With the right trimming for this horse,
Birgitta’s guidance, especially her educating us about the importance of movement, exercise and diet for our horse, I have no doubly in my heart that she saved our horses life.
I am so grateful and our then non year old horse is almost twenty,
and we have had no issues with her for years.

We had five horses when Birgitta and the Success with Horses team started trimming for us. Their barefoot trimming practices made a significant difference to three of our
horses and the remaining two continue to do well.
Firstly, our little mini, who had foundered previously, galloped around the field the next day after his first trim after being only pasture sound for 2 years. It changed his life.
We also had a mare who had a crack in her front hoof from the coronet band to the ground,
this has COMPLETELY healed!
I would recommend them to any horse owner as barefoot is the way to go!

A few years ago, my mare became very lame and could barely walk. My veterinarian came and did
x-rays, injections, and bute, but nothing helped. It broke my heart so see my mare in that amount of pain, and my vet suggested that I may have to consider euthanasia.
Not wanting to give up, I had a holistic vet come out to try acupuncture. She looked at my mare’s hooves and was concerned about the length of them. She suggested a natural barefoot trimmer named Birgitta who she had used in the past with great results.
The next morning Birgitta came out and trimmed my mare’s hooves.
After the trim she was able to walk short distances. Within a few days she made a full recovery.
Birgitta gave me invaluable information regarding diet, nutrition, weight management
and how tit all plays a significant part in a healthy hoof.
A year later, I adopted a companion horse for my mare. He was 12 years old
and was wearing shoes constantly since he was 2.
He was so lame and in so much pain that he spent most of his time lying down. Birgitta and Connie came out the following day. They pulled his shoes and gave him a trim. In time he made a full recovery and with regular hood trim there has never been any issues.
